While they qualified for the playoffs, they had to do it the hard way, by winning essentially a single elimination game in Round 13. They're there however, and that was looking unlikely before team management controversially decided to more reigning league MVP and scoring leader G Alistair Son for breakout G Chad Dyer to run the point. While Dyer wasn't exactly what was advertised, the move obviously worked, as the Colts edged out Son's new team, the Hammerheads, for the second Conference B spot. G Dirk Diggler took his next step into superstardom, F James McDougal rediscovered his fire - some say due to the arrival of enemy Dyer - and the reserves, G Theo Miokovic, C Shane Masters and F Samuel Vimes provided serviceable minutes. Diggler hopes the form will continue into the three game series against the Ocelots. Team MVP: Dirk Diggler Season grade: B-

Dyer was better than I thought, I was distracted by his shooting. I'd still call it a winner for the Hammers too, I had a rating 0.8 ahead of Dyer during our two times at the Hammers, but definitely ended better for the Colts - surprisingly.
Most interesting part of that - Diggler getting to the FT line much more and attempting less 3s. Definitely became to go to scorer rather than a secondary scorer and shooter.

Downes' performances became even better, somehow, and Gayler took his dominance as a post player for Queensland to the regular season stage - drawing high praise from critics. The supporting cast still needs work however. The guard spots are still up for grabs, although Manera put his best foot forward in his portrayal of a starting point. It was clear that playing the character of a guard wasn't Anraad's forte, but he performed admirably in his role. Many though Retzel looked out of place next to the other starring names Downes and Gayler, but he displayed that he's a star of the future, showcasing his defence in a way that complimented what the others were doing. A must watch. 5 stars. Team MVP: Charlie Downes Season grade: A

Why are the Tigers so good you ask? There's so many reasons. Firstly, G Siege Morgan is probably the best two way guard in the league. He became the scorer the worked so hard over summer to be, averaging 22.5 points to go with 6.2 assists and an incredble 7.2 rebounds. Which leads me to point two. This is - by far - the best rebounding team in the league. In addition to Morgan, F Brett Hall averaged 12.0 boards, C Ether Starris 9.8 and F LeBron Ames an amazing 9.8 from a wing. Rebounding directly correlates with success in basketball, and these guys are the best at earning themselves extra shots and preventing the opposition from doing the same. Thirdly, Brett Hall has become a juggernaut. 3.3 blocks a game, 18.2 points, 12 rebounds. Wow. And don't forget about All-BBallSim 1st team G Truman Lee and LeBron Ames.Good luck to any team attempting to trump them in the playoffs because they've got 5 genuine offensive threats on the court, 5 double-double threats and some of the stingiest defence in the league - IN THE STARTING LINEUP. I haven't even mentioned 6th Man of the Season guard Sam Bakkum. Seriously, good luck. Team MVP: Brett Hall Season grade: A+
