I reckon if there was some sort of rating system out of 10 for each players performance, Benji would have to be the worst in the league and if not close to it. fmd anyone other than him have a stretch of even 5 matches like this and they don't see first grade again for a very, very long time.
Agreed. Soon as Marshall decided to go they should've dropped him. He won't be there in 2014, they aren't going to make the 8. I understand he is a long service player and has done a great deal for the Tigers but no player is above the club. Why prolong the evolution and development of others? Cunt looks like he'd rather be somewhere else anyway.
Easts should just be playing straight the entire time. All the metres are through the middle and they're making them with ease. And both tries have come through the middle.
Disagree. You don't drop him when he decides to leave, but you don't keep him in there if he plays shit. Treat him like any other player. I mean it's like dropping anyone who's retiring even if you aren't gonna make the 8. Should Parra have dropped Hindy last year? Of course not.
I actually would've considered it, the way he was playing. It was like watching Ali in 1981. He'd basically given up on running the ball and was just out there running himself into the ground in defence. I take your point though. I have serious sentimentality for Hindy though. He certainly deserved to finish on his own terms.
Yeah I definitely understand it now with regards to form, just thought you said it regardless of whether he was playing well or not if we weren't contending.
What a joke of a system. Every year we find new ways to award as many tries as possible. So over this VR shit. If the on-field ref new it was a try he would've given it. Where is the conclusive evidence that it touched the ground? If the on-field ref said no try, there's no way it would've been given.
