Pokemon Sim v3-The Design and Signup thread

Just a heads up for those picking stronger starters

1-I'll probably force you to rival each other, or if you go Dragons, Hunter. Rather than selecting a Rival.
2-I may cause them to level at the correct speed
3-You may find you have a lower chance of catching the more powerful tier of pokemon as we progress.

Or I just ban them, whichever.

 

Like I said, if you want a Dragon, Swablu is an option (Normal, evolves into dragon, not OP in either form but still decent) or MAYBE Trapinch, but that's extremely strong as a Flygon.

For Steel, Probably Magnemite. Aron maybe, but that's still strong. You can catch one very early in the game so I'll allow it probably. Like 95% probable.

For Rock, Geodude/Onix/Nosepass etc.

Or future gen stuff, I don't really know what's in it but you can use it as a starter.

 

Heracross should be fine, to me at least. Good pokemon, but you are going Bug so it evens out.

 

That's fine too. We're talking about the uber pokemon levels really. Larvitar and Beldum are even debatably OK, the problem one is Dratini. It learns Dragon Rage so early on that it rapes everything on it's level with its 40 damage per turn against everything, and can't be dealt with.

A few others debatably fit the "Too OP early category" but that can be handled, probably.

 

You'll have a slightly higher chance of catching pokemon of said types as you progress.

 

In fairness, Charmander can do equally bad. But I'm going to run Charmander off old moveset so no OP level 16 Dragon Rage.
