    It's because Arkham City sort of relies on the player having a decent knowledge of people who aren't Batman, Catwoman and the Joker. That's the biggest downfall of the game, IMO, and something that Asylum handled really well. The story was better for hardcore Batfans but for the casual who liked the first game and the movies it was a bit of a miss.

    I'm a bit of a fan, so I didn't have any problems with it. :p

    Don't agree. Had a phase where I read all the comics from the late 80s to mid 00s and the story didn't do much for me. I think it could have borrowed from the Cataclysm arc more, although Infamous has already gone down that route.
