Depending on what the Kiwis name, I reckon they'll do us.

  2. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh it's definitely game on, NZ should be able to match that. Game will be won either side of half time if they're going to win though... that's one weak ass bench.

  3. LukeTyson L Tyson

That is a fucking terrible side.

  4. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Fucking stupid side. FMD. Sheens is the worst coach in the NRL.

  5. Ged GEC King

    Yeah. I fucking hate Sheens!

  6. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

I could pick a better team with one change.

    17. B Gemmell

That way I would play 0mins, and so would Williams. Improvement!

    Fuckin lol.

  8. Toolman TR Man

Can anybody tell me what time this game is on? Just tell me the NSW time so I can subtract an hour and not get confused.. it better not conflict with the union game.

  9. Magic AJ Parker

Not until the end of the month I'm pretty sure.

lol wtf ARL site have it down as the 28th of Oct, thought it was strange given lineups were named this week.

Is it not a 4 nations fixture?

  12. AVA T Delonge

    Nope, just a random trial.

  13. Speirz DG Speirs

    Nope.

Tonga is in, Taylor is out with no named replacement, Inglis is passed fit.

Anthony Watmough, Paul Gallen, David Shillington, Akuila Uate, Jharal Yow Yeh, Cooper Cronk, Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Chris Lawrence, Matt Scott, Johnathan Thurston, Luke Lewis, Darren Lockyer, Corey Parker, Sam Thaiday, Beau Scott, Daly Cherry Evans, Tony Williams, Darius Boyd, Greg Inglis, Willie Tonga, Keith Galloway, Robbie Farah

From the above squad, the top side.

    1. Slater
    2. Boyd
    3. Inglis
    4. Lawence - Not a big fan of Lawence TBH. Gidley could be an option, he played well there when Hodges received an eye injury a couple of year ago. Even Boyd.
    5. Uate - Better option that Yow Yeh at this stage.
    6. Lockyer
    7. Thurston
    8. Scott
    9. Smith
    10. Gallen
    11. Scott - I hate him. But his efforts in SSO shouldn't be ignored.
    12. Thaiday
    13. Parker - 2nd best lock in the squad, the best is in the front row.

    14. Cronk
    15. Watmough - Should be nowhere near the starting side IMO.
    16. Lewis
    17. Galloway/Shillington - Only need 1 specialist prop on the bench seeing Gallen, Thaiday, Parker and Beau Scott will play close to 80.

The rest can have a dig v Wales.

All I can say is: FMD, what a shithouse squad. **** you Aussie selectors!

McGuire is now officially available, wouldn't be a bad thing for him to get a look-in as Taylor's replacement for a game v Wales.

  16. Magic AJ Parker

    Myles > Mcguire

  17. League Lover L Lover

Without a doubt but I could see Mcguire getting a look in over Myles due to the fact that Myles hasn't played any recent football at a decent stantard.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

If they're worried about fitness then just pick Bird or Mannah.

Mcguire being suggested is seriously dire. He played half a good season, if that.

  19. League Lover L Lover

Mcguire has the potential to be better than Bird or Mannah. Would have no problems with him being in the squad. Especially given some of the other selections...

I'd disagree but regardless National teams shouldn't be picked on potential when there's already a shit load of quality options. Nor should a selection be justified by comparing it to a shit selection already made.
