You really think Gillett is a modern-day lock? Don't really see it, myself. Far more damaging on the fringes than up the middle and not a great defender (although not as poor as some people make out). Definitely think he's a second rower.
Wesser, Merritt, Farrell, Corrigan, Roberts, Sutton, Sandow, Ross, Luke, McPherson, McQueen, Pettybourne, Crocker, (Burgess, Tyrell, Clark, Peats). FMD that looks shit.
Any lineup with Corrigan in it just screams below par to me. And he's not even that bad - he's a decent enough depth player in case of injury or what have you - but he just makes lineups look really bad from my perspective for some reason. I'd shuffle that forward pack around a little bit too (Pettybourne to prop, McPherson to lock, Crocker to second row) but it won't happen.
Parker. Reckon Thaiday will have to move up front again soon. He's not as good there as in the back row, though I guess he can still mostly run as a second rower. Still better than Anderson and co, and it's the best way to fit in 5 orsm back rowers.
Looks like Hook consulted the Book of Ivan for that bench. FMD. Should still be enough to beat the EEls though.
Also was nearly a mid-season transfer to Souffs. Glad we didn't TBH considering all our injuries in the forwards.
Yeah, Keating should play hooker when Roberts on. Well, in reality, Reynolds should just play the 80 at hooker and Halatau should be kept as far away from the position as possible, but that's obviously not going to happen.
