Trade Talk - 2015 Edition

    Lot of talk has been flying about recently, thought it was a good time to put up this thread.

    We've heard talk about the following players potentially leaving:

    - Adam Treloar (will apparently re-sign)
    - Lachie Henderson
    - Jake Carlisle
    - Charlie Dixon
    - Rory Sloane
    - Steven Motlop
    - James Aish
    - Stephen Conigilo
    - other Carlton players in the 25-29 age bracket

    Anyone I've missed? What do you think it will take to get certain off-contract stars?

    Somebody could easily come out and offer him way overs and then it becomes harder to be happy where you are.

    Surely Hawkins and Motlop resigns with us and still believe we will get Dangerfield, heard somewhere he or his partner just purchased a property in Geelong

    I think Danger to the cats is a sure thing.

    Treloar to the pies is looking good.

    I honestly don't think Carlton can keep Henderson

    He doesn't seem keen to leave to me, but money may talk...what would be the asking price for him? Don't think their first will cut it.

    Carlton are arguably better off cutting Henderson if they can get good value for him.

    Treloar would be worth about 750k imo. He might not be worth that but that was what it will take to get him to leave GWS.

    I don't want Henderson at Geelong, I really like Kolodjashnij so I want him to come up from the ressies.

    Yeah but Lonergan, Rivers and Mackie are over 30 and Taylor's 29, you need extra options down back IMO.

    Lonergan is contracted for 2016, Rivers is in career best form and will go on if his body complies, Taylor's got a lot left in his body. I'd rather wait til 2017/draft one. Kolo was 4th in the B&F last year and has been in the best 5 of 7 times tip his season or something - he'll be a good AFL player.

    as for Mackie, he's a rebounder and will be replaced in his role by Thurlow who'll step up

    Listed Mackie who could possibly be played taller if injuries hit your KPD stocks.

    Oh yeah, he's done jobs on Buddy etc before, but we've now got Blitz on the list who I'd say would be likely to go their first. Not 100% on that though given his form in the guts this season.

    Surely they left room for Danger in the cap just in case he signs on.

    Cool, also whats Luxford like as a player? i know his been on our rookie list, but thats all i pretty much know, he and Kolo might come in this week

    He's only played footy for a year and a half and it shows. He's been great in the VFL but looked a bit too raw for the 1s when he played against Essendon. Personally I want Kolodjashnij and Jansen in, I think Luxford will play though.

    Carlisle for Isaac Smith and first round pick is what is being floated around.
