    The players were potentially going to refuse to play if Milne was suspended, but they've come to some agreement and Milne thinks he's coming back in 2 rounds, after womans week. Otherwise he's threatened to take possible legal action.

    If he's guilty, sure. No use punishing a potentially innocent man.

    I've seen way to many dudes get fucked up as a result of some pseudo-moral bitch regretting the fact that she drunkenly slept with a guy and then trying to restore her pride alleging rape.

    If he is gulity, lock the cunt up.

    While the trial is pending, he shouldn't be playing. If there is enough evidence to have him charged, then it isn't just her word against his. It will be interesting to see what happens at the committal hearing in a couple of weeks, and from that we should be able to tell how its going to go

    Plenty of blokes get charged on someone elses word and a rape kit showing traces of their semen.

    All it means is they had sex, doesn't imply consent.

    Unless Montagna's going to testify against him, I'd be amazed if anything but her word is going to nail him.

    Its such a shit charge to prosecute, if it is just her word against his, the magistrate will laugh it out of caught. There is no way you can find someone guilty on that.

    Thats the hard thing to prove with sexual assault, how can you prove that consent was given, its so hard. Thats why so many people that rape are free in society.

    Yeah that's why a rape kit is so important. If a woman doesn't want to accept a cock then she'll resist. That kind of stuff shows up - there'll be a little bit of brusing and even cuts and all that. Unfortunately this is so long ago i doubt the one from back then is even valid anymore or even if one was done, like, she claimed she thought it was joey yeah? so she wouldn't have resisted anyway.

    I can't see anything aside from a milne confession or a montagna dogging that'll nail him.

    I don't remember anything about the case, but its going to be very interesting as to how they prove it without a confession. If the police don't have enough eveidence then the case will fall down at the committal hearing and that will be.
