Some of the guys in Dropkick Murphy's came on as unannounced guests at The Revival Tour show I went to. Tore shit up alongside a very intoxicated Lenny Lashley.
RiotFest would be my perfect festival. It's in the States. Goes for 3 days & couple smaller ones in other cities. That and Rebellion Fest in the UK. 2012 Rise Against Iggy & The Stooges, The Offspring, Elvis Costello, A Day To Remember, Coheed & Cambria, Gogol Bordello, Descendants, Dropkick Murphys, NOFX, Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, Slapstick, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Andrew WK, The Gaslight Anthem, AwolNation, Minus The Bear, Neon Trees, The Promise Ring Chiodos GWAR August Burns Red Less Than Jake Built To Spill Frank Turner PegBoy Reverend Horton Heat Imagine Dragons The Adicts Fishbone NoBunny Dead Sara A Wilhelm Scream Screaming Females Teenage Bottlerocket Off With Their Heads Sister Crayon Deals Gone Bad White Mystery Larry & His Flask The Henry Clay People The Story So Far Japanther The Infected Fireworks Environmental Encroachment The Bronx in Chicago, Fucked Up in Toronto and Municipal Waste in Dallas.
I thought about going to the Brooklyn one but then realised that given I'm already seeing Larry and His Flask later that month I'd only really be going in the hope that Hot Water Music did an entire set of the new album, and The Bronx. Chigaco line-up looks fucking immense though
Went and saw Billy Talent in concert tonight and they more or less confirmed they'll be at Soundwave too.
I know his deal, friends love him and have told me about him, shown me footage etc. But I'd have to see him live to rate him.
Gonna have a crack at tickets for soundwave, wondering which venue would be best, got some mates coming over from NZ and i don't necessarily wan't to go to brisbane just cause i live close.
