    I've got a really efficient and quick system in place (as you can see from the reaction time here) so it really shouldn't be like this. Silly stuff from me, really.

    Attack by Tony Hurel (Europcar). He knows that he has scant chance of victory, but he deserves some credit for trying.
    Several riders have seen an opportunity in the slow pace of the peloton. We have 3 riders trying to create a breakaway. It remains to be seen if H.Houle, A.Grivko, M.Daniel can agree amongst themselves to make the breakaway work.
    Attack by Lucas Sebastián Haedo.
    There's plenty of movement in the peloton with 2 riders trying to break away. The names are : T.Wellens, W.Barguil.
    The peloton is upping the pace.
    The understanding among the breakaway riders seems to be coming apart and Andriy Grivko (Astana) has decided to set off alone.
    Attack by Jack Bauer.
    The escapees have now put a minute between themselves and the peloton.

    Arnaud Labbe (Cofidis) is trying to stick to the wheels of the attackers.
    Race update. Numerous riders are attempting attacks to break away from the peloton. Riders prominent in these attempts are : M.Daniel, S.Kruijswijk

    With more than 2 minutes on the peloton, the breakaway is beginning to look more convincing.
    The peloton doesn't seem too worried about the breakaway. Perhaps they underestimate the danger.

    There's plenty of movement in the peloton with 3 riders trying to break away. The names are : R.Hunter, J.Mouris, L.S.Haedo.
    The riders are taking it easy today, they seem to be keeping something in reserve for the final kilometres.
    The breakaway has now more than 5 minutes on the peloton.
    The peloton is un-panicked and the pace is nice and easy.
    The gap between the peloton and the breakaway is decreasing.
    Jetse Bol has just suffered a puncture.
    Pieter Serry (RadioShack) has fallen ! He looks slightly injured, but he will no doubt finish the race.
    Evaldas Siskevicius (Sojasun) has fallen inside the peloton. Luckily enough, no other rider has been affected.
    The escapees have an ever decreasing lead on the peloton.
    Several riders seem unable to keep-up with the pace and are dropping back, one-by-one.
    Alexis Vuillermoz has just suffered a puncture.
    None of the big teams seem worried by the breakaway.
    We're already at the half-way stage.
    Marc Goos has just suffered a puncture.
    The numbers within the peloton continue to be whittled away with many no longer able to follow the pace.
