Typhoons well on top so far. Squids finding it hard to get the ball out of their 22, let alone into the Typhoons half.

A couple of try saving tackles in there for the Squids by Immanuel and Oz, but can they keep this tackle rate up?

No, they can't. Ikram with a mini break away only 10m out, and he's nicely lined up tighthead prop Gurupur as the last man. Gurupur is blown away by Ikram's pace and that's the Typhoons' 2nd.

Squids finally with some possession and the Typhoons concede a kickable penalty as Jake Wilkinson is pinged for illegal binding at the scrum.

A decent kick, but from right in front.

Holbitt's kick doesn't have the distance.

Nielson penalised for interference at the line out and Holbitt gets a second go at a penalty.

This time, he nails it.

Holbitt misses another penalty which again comes up short. The Typhoons look to run it out, from their own try line, but this is a mistake. The Typhoons panic and Dyer opts for the clearing kick which only makes it about 12m upfield and remains in play as Yates gathers.

Yates goes for a run and smashes over Jesse Harding and is unmolested by last man Billy Kazim as he slides over for a try.

Holbitt converts.

In this second half, the Typhoons are looking happy to absorb pressure from the Squids. In a reversal of fortunes, this time it's the Squids camped out in the Typhoons half, but the Typhoons are repelling everything that's being thrown at them.

But all that hard work comes undone due to a moment of brilliance from Murray Mister. A decent pass from James Hughes, but then Mister spins round a tackle from Ikram and is off downfield. Just Kazim to beat, and Mister palms him away for a try in the corner.
