Try saving tackle from Darryn Howell on Bibu Immanuel. Immanuel looked over for all money, but a slamming tackle from Howell slowed him down enough for the support to flock in and get the turnover.

    11.30

Howell gets pinged for a not-straight line out throw.

Squids in a good position with the scrum here.
Hughes spreads the ball along the backline, throws a brilliant pass to Edwards who turns on the speed and crosses easily in the corner.

    TRY TO Squids

    Holbitt misses the conversion.

    Squids 5 - 0 Olympians

Peter Jackson is tackled by Chris Golding for the Squids and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Squids players pile in. I think he got a little isolated there, and they've turned the ball over.

Chris Golding with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 3 metres. Evades the tackle by Storer and keeps on running.
Gains another 8 metres. Draws in Al Farnsworth and manages to offload to James Hughes.

41 metres on the Olympians side of the halfway line.

Hughes makes another few metres, It looks like he's going to be tackled by Kyle Tait but he manages to offload to Michael Edwards in time.

Edwards can't control it though, Farnsworth scoots through and steals the loose ball. He runs 9m upfield and passes to Flack.
Scott Flack with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. Good Tackle by Chris Golding and a ruck forms.
Ben Storer is tackled by that man Chris Golding again for the Squids and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Squids players pile in and turn it over.

James Hughes gets the ball and bursts through the defensive line. He's almost immediately scythed down, but clean ball for the Squids.
Zac MacDonald is tackled by Charlie Downes for the Olympians and a ruck forms. Olympians players quickly get to the ruck and get the ball back.

Incredible stuff here! Flack with the quick ball to Webber off the back of the ruck and Webber squeezes between Holbitt and MacDonald and he's through the defensive line.
Edwards can only steer Webber to the corner! TRY!!

    TRY TO Olympians
Conversion attempt for the Olympians. Kick to be taken by Peter Jackson. Nah, that's sailed wide of the posts.

    Squids 5 - 5 Olympians

    HALF TIME

Possession has been even-stevens but the Squids are well ahead territorially.

  17. Tartmaster AJ James

    42.15

A good chance for the Olympians goes begging under pressure from Gurupur. Farnsworth tries a no-look tackle and it bobbles into touch.

    47.15

Scrum to the Olympians. The scrum collapses as the ball's fed. The referee has called Soumyanil Das for that offense. That'll be a penalty to the Olympians

23 metres on the Squids side of the halfway line.

Penalty to the Olympians to be taken by Peter Jackson.
From here, they're going to have a Kick At Goal.
That's not got the distance and is gathered by Holbitt.

Holbitt attempts to run this out, but he's caught in possession by Downes who forces the turnover.

    10m from the tryline.

Quick ball here for the Olympians and Flack spins it to Webber.
Webber to Tait who cuts-out to Farhat.

Overlap here and Farhat dives over in the corner.

    TRY TO Olympians
    Conversion attempt for the Olympians.
Wow. Jackson's not known for his place kicking, but that's a beautiful kick there. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Squids 5 - 12 Olympians

    52.15

Peter Jackson with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 5 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Chris Golding but he gets it to Scott Flack.

Flack's been in everything tonight, not this time though, as he's smashed by Golding.

They're only a couple of metres out so the Olympians look to drive it over . Parero is the first to go. He's tackled by Bibu Immanuel for the Squids and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Olympians show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

Now Petrucci goes for it. Denzel Petrucci is tackled by the tackling machine that is Chris Golding.

Flack now looks to spread, but thinks he's seen a gap and goes for it.
    Reece Fisher stops him though.
The Squids defence flock in,and have stolen it.
    Pressure relieved a bit.

Zac MacDonald opts to kick here for the Squids. He doesn't get much distance on this and Farhat gathers 10m out.

Ali Farhat with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment looking for a gap. He lets off an awful pass in the tackle. That's been knocked on and we'll have a scrum here.

    Scrum to the Squids.

The ball is passed back to Lehmann to clear, but Petrucci bares down on him in a flash and Lehmann can't clear. Charged down! The ball comes to Tait who runs at the defensive line, already in disarray.

Kyle Tait with the ball on the run here. He runs it in with ease.
    That's another try.

    TRY TO Olympians
Conversion attempt for the Olympians. Kick to be taken by Peter Jackson. Nah, that's sailed wide of the posts.

    Squids 5 - 17 Olympians

Scott Flack is tackled by Soumyanil Das for the Squids and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but Scott Flack has been penalised by the referee for not releasing the ball.
That'll be a penalty to the Squids

They're only 12m out here, but they've decided to go for the 3.
A great connection for him there and he secures the 3 points.

    Squids 8 - 17 Olympians

  20. Tartmaster AJ James

    71.30

Penalty to the Squids to be taken by Jack Holbitt.
From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. Great kick. That finds touch 17 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

Line Out to Squids about 15m out. That's a good throw.
Easy take there for the Squids. The ball secured by Cameron Chapnis.

Chris Golding with the ball on the run here. He's incredibly dangerous in this sort of position and he cuts through the defensive line with ease.
Golding showing he's too good for reserves.

    TRY TO Squids
Conversion attempt for the Squids. Kick to be taken by Jack Holbitt. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Squids 15 - 17 Olympians

Right back in this are the Squids.
