The in-form King was on a great run off a win-against-the-head scrum. Boland tracked back superbly and brought King down.

The tackle was so well done, that Boland ripped the ball from King and secured the turnover too.

Andrew James with the ball deep in Vikings territory. He's looking to run the ball out, and gains decent yardage before being brought down by Hornby.

Chewie, Manera and Crowley secure clean ball for the Vikings.

Nigel Hunt with clean ball, passes to Bots. Quick hands out to Cambridge.

Cambridge runs at the defensive line and passes to Manera under pressure from Boy. Manera has nowhere to run and passes to Boland, but Boland is tackled by O'Neill.

Manera is right on the spot though and with help from Delonge, clean ball is secured.

Nigel Hunt with the dive-pass away to James. James runs at the line and passes to Cambridge in the tackle. Cambridge runs the diagonal and passes back infield to Herd.

Herd's at full speed and runs at King. King is flattened and Herd is through. He's got far too much pace for the Gamblers backs and slides through in the corner.

Jacobs runs up at the Gamblers line at pace, and is tackled by Morgan. Jacobs has somehow let off a pass in the tackle, but Ryan Gayler can't gather it. Knock on, but the referee plays advantage as the ball goes straight to Hornby.

Hornby gains a couple and then looks to Tyson on the far touchline.

Tyson is brought down 2m short of the line. A big mess of bodies here, perfect pick and go territory.

Read is the first to have a go, but is resisted by Narang.

The Gamblers look to line up Welker. He has a go at the line.

He's over the line, but we'll have to go to the TMO for this. I've no idea if he's scored...

 

...It's clear from the replay, the ball is down. That's a try.

Well well well. There's a bit of a fight going on by the touchline. Delonge has thrown a punch at Gemmell. Gemmell was goading Delonge there and this is a massive flare up.

Both teams forwards are getting into a massive brawl on the side of the pitch.

The referee and touch judges gradually pull them apart.

Gemmell looks to have a possibly broken nose and is needing some treatment but is looking fine to play on.

The referee calls over both captains, Gemmell and Delonge for a chat. Neither is shown a card, but the SRC disciplinary committee may see things differently.

In the meantime, Taylor has missed the conversion.
