    1.00

Sam Graham is tackled by Volt Man for the Crabs and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but Sam Graham has been penalised by the referee for not releasing the ball. That'll be a penalty to the Crabs

The next phase to be played from 17 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Penalty to the Crabs to be taken by Sam Somerset. From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. Great kick. That finds touch 13 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

The next phase to be played from 30 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Line Out to Crabs. That's a good throw for Gbagbo.
Easy take there for the Crabs. The ball secured easily by Crossfire Hurricane.

The next phase to be played from 38 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Jake Howe with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 1 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Sam Green but he manages to offload to Os Du Toit in time.

The next phase to be played from 39 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Os Du Toit with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. He lets off an awful pass in the tackle. That's been knocked on and we'll have a scrum here.

The next phase to be played from 39 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Good scrum for the Sharks and the danger is cleared. Good early signs from the Crabs.

Sharks defence needs to be strong today.

Penalty to the Sharks to be taken by Matthew Scoble. From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. That finds touch 10 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

The next phase to be played from 21 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Line Out to Sharks. That's a good throw.
Easy take there for the Sharks. The ball secured easily by James McDougal. The forwards manage to rumble a few metres before the ball is spread...

...The next phase to be played from 28 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Bakkum to Scoble. Scoble to Graham. Sam Graham is tackled by Double Dong for the Crabs and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Sharks show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

The next phase to be played from 30 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Sam Green with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. Good Tackle by Daniel Speirs and a ruck forms.

The next phase to be played from 30 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

The ball comes out for Sam Bakkum who spreads the ball again. However, Chris Devonshire is tackled by Okoudou Gbagbo for the Crabs and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Sharks show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

The next phase to be played from 32 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

The Crabs attempt to turn this over, but the Sharks get the ball. Bakkum short to Simon Laing who crunches through a few metres. He's brought down and Bakkum spreads again.

The next phase to be played from 41 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Jordan Logan opts to kick here for the Sharks. Well, that's just dribbled into touch. Line out 5m from the Crabs line. Pressure on, here.

The next phase to be played from 45 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line...

Solid defending at least, need to win some ball back though.

Dunno if I've time for a motivation speech here. Hold them!

Line Out to the Crabs. That's a good throw.
Oh dear, that's been read like a cheap paperback. The ball secured easily in a steal by Sam Verigotta.

The Sharks form another maul, and the Crabs don't have the strength to counter from such a short distance. Verigotta scores!

    TRY TO Sharks
Conversion attempt for the Sharks. Kick to be taken by Matthew Scoble. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Crabs 0 - 7 Sharks

Unlucky for the Crabs there. An inspirational play from Verigoat got that try. The tackling has been superb so far from the Crabs in particular. A very low missed tackle count.

  15. BigDougy DG Dafter

Yuss....first score on the board. Important to keep making these tackles.

Zac MacDonald with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. He lets off an awful pass in the tackle. That's been knocked on and we'll have a scrum here.

The next phase to be played from 34 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Scrum to the Crabs. What is this? Amateur hour. Ridiculously poor attempt at a scrum feed from Cobra Classified. That'll be a free kick to the Sharks

The next phase to be played from 34 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line...

  17. Howe JHF Howe

Can't complain too much if we're outplayed, just got to make sure we hit back when we've got the chance as well. Need some points on the board asap.

Edit: Oh fuck, CC. Sort it out.

Looks like we should just be avoiding all set-pieces.

...Jordan Logan opts to kick here for the Sharks. He's gone for the high bomb. That's gone about 12m, but he's surely handed over possession.

The next phase to be played from 46 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line.

Wow! Incredible run by Dexter Astele. Maybe offside at that kick, but the ref hasn't seen it. He competes with Phlegm for the ball and steals the ball off the full back. However, Astele can't make any progress in the face of a good defensive line. Good Tackle by Double Dong and a ruck forms.

The Sharks forwards secure quick ball. Bakkum passes to Scoble, Scoble to Graham who fancies he's seen a gap.

The next phase to be played from 46 metres on the Crabs side of the halfway line....
