Line out 20m into Vikings territory. Morris with a good throw taken by Laing at the back. Laing to Bakkum. Bakkum spreads the ball and it gets to Laing. Laing has opted for the grubber kick through the Vikings line. Well weighted, and it's picked up by Sam Bakkum. Lovely kick there. Good space here for Bakkum, and he gains 5 before offloading to Green. Quick hands find Hutchinson out wide. He's close to touch and he passes back infield to Green. Good link up play here. Green, back to Bakkum and he's finally brought down 5m from the line. Masters tries the pick and go, but is pushed back and gains nothing...

...But Delonge throws far too deep at the resulting line out, and Astele clears up at the end of the line to turn the ball back to the Sharks. Astele to Bakkum, Bakkum to Devonshire. Devonshire bursts past Jonny Ridd he has to offload only 2m shy of the line. Good pass off to Simon Laing... ...But Laing drops it cold. The ref signals play on as Hunt gathers the ball and hoofs the ball back downfield 25m.
...Sweetman tracks back and collects. The whole field is in disarray - both teams looking to reform their lines. Sweetman passes to Logan who runs up to the Vikings line - only 15m short of the try line again. Logan bumps Perry out of the way and then passes to Hutchinson who offloads to Graham. Graham tries to beat Delonge for pace, but is ankle tapped and a ruck forms. Morris tries the pick and go, but only gains a metre. Sharks try again, Dafter makes a great burst this time, but is dragged down a metre short of the line. Great sustained pressure from the Sharks here, They set up for another pick and go, but it's a sucker punch - as the Vikings forwards bunch up around the ruck, Bakkum spreads the ball wide. Hutchinson is on the end of it, and there's a big overlap. He slides over in the corner. Tough conversion for Scoble, but he nails it. Sharks 7 - 0 Vikings
...The restart is dropped by Dexter Astele. That's a scrum. Ah. The Sharks have been penalised for Wheeling the Scrum there. That's a penalty, and Jacobs finds touch 13m from the Sharks line. Delonge with the line out, taken by Downpipes. Oh dear. Downpipes did all the hard work, but he dropped the ball there. Another scrum - Sharks feed. Easy ball secured and Logan clears downfield. Vikings line out. Delonge goes for Downpipes again, and this time it's clean. Downpipes to Perry. Perry to Hunt. Hunt tackled by Verigotta. Hutchinson is first there and Morris and Dafter pile in. Tough ruck this, but the ball pops out on the Sharks side. The whistle blows - Hutchinson penalised for playing the ball in the ruck there. Jacobs with the kick - perfect kick. Line out from 5m. Delonge throws to Downpipes for a third time, and this time they setup the rolling maul. The Sharks shut it down only 1m short of the line. Solid work from the forwards there. Perry takes the ball and strafes along the line. He spies a tiny gap in the Sharks line - and scoots through it like a knife through butter. Try!!! Great line break from Pezza. 22.30 The Vikings give up a great try scoring opportunity when they fluff a Scrum 5m from the Sharks line following Hunt being held up over the line by Morris. At the Scrum, there's a hint of an early engagement from the Sharks, and the Vikings find themselves under pressure and they collapse the scrum. The resulting penalty clears the danger for the Sharks.
