I'm putting a vB$10k price on Scoble's head. Dead or Alive.

    Bakkum

    Innovation from Luffers though.

James McDougal on the run for the Sharks, but is solidly tackled by Alan Izett. Oho, cheeky from Davis there as he slams in and wins the turnover.

Nope, the whistle's gone and fair enough. Davis clearly coming in the side of that ruck.

Another penalty for the Sharks. Scoble again goes for the 3 points and nails it.

    Spartans 3 - 6 Sharks

Good to see normal Rugby Union finals rules apply with both sides being incredibly cagey and only scoring points from the boot!

Restart to the Spartans. Jake Luffman with the kick. That's a superb kick. Pretty much uncontested and they've managed to secure possession from that kick off.

Paddy Orr is tackled by Sam Bakkum for the Sharks and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but someone in the Sharks defensive line has been called off side. Penalty to the Spartans. Danger here for the Sharks

The next phase to be played from 15 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Penalty to the Spartans to be taken by Jake Luffman. From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. Great kick. That finds touch 17 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

The next phase to be played from 32 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Line Out to Spartans. That's a good throw.
Easy take there for the Spartans. The ball secured easily by Callum Laing.

The next phase to be played from 38 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

The ball comes very quickly, and Rob Cribb spreads out to Luffman who's spotted John Heads on the run. He's burst through the defensive line and he's on a run. John Heads with the ball for the Spartans. He shrugged off a weak tackle from Chris Golding and Regan Hutchinson can't stop him!

Conversion attempt for the Spartans. Kick to be taken by Jake Luffman. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Spartans 10 - 6 Sharks

Gutted that we're losing so many line outs, just dropping out of form

The next phase to be played from 19 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Eddie Morris is tackled by Dave Eggman for the Spartans and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Spartans players pile in. I think he got a little isolated there, and they've turned the ball over here.

The next phase to be played from 21 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Lucas Schaw is tackled by Chris Golding for the Sharks and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Spartans show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

The next phase to be played from 24 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

He's burst through the defensive line and he's on a run. Paddy Orr with the ball for the Spartans. Ah, he's not going to make it all the way, he's been tackled but he managed to gain 24 metres there. Sharks starting to miss a few tackles now as the Spartans hit their straps. A great last ditch tackle by Dafter, but the Spartans still have it.

The next phase to be played from 48 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

The Spartans spread the ball wide to Al Farnsworth but he's tackled by Eddie Morris for the Sharks and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Spartans show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

The next phase to be played from 48 metres on the Sharks side of the halfway line.

Again, Rob Cribb looks to spread the ball as he throws a big cut-out pass to John Heads in his last game for the Spartans. Heads charges at the line with great pace and flattens Matthew Scoble and he's through! A 2nd try for Heads!

    Spartans 17 - 6 Sharks

Spartans looking in control at the moment. What tricks do the Sharks still have up their sleeve?

Spartans on attack again. Sharks defense holding firm this time with some good tackles put in by Welker, Dafter and Verigotta

Off this ruck, the Spartans spread it along the back line. Schaw with the ball only about 8m from the Sharks line, and he's tackled by Morris. Sharks forwards pile in looking for the turnover, but the whistle goes.

Verigotta penalised for incorrect entry at the gate. The replay shows him clearly coming in at the side to try and get his hands on the ball.

Luffman goes for the penalty and it's easy for him from here.

    Spartans 20 - 6 Sharks

Two converted tries in it now.
