That's a weak clearance there from Hunt. He's only managed to kick that a few yards, though he didn't have much of an angle to play with.
Line Out to Hurricanes. That's a good throw.

Easy take there for the Hurricanes. The ball secured easily by Brett Gemmell. Gemmell's taking the ball himself and driving through some weak tackling. He burrows down on the try line as Narang attempts to hold him up, but Gemmell dots the ball down with one hand on the line. The ref's given it!

    TRY TO Hurricanes
Conversion attempt for the Hurricanes. Kick to be taken by Ed Ames. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Vikings 0 - 7 Hurricanes

14:30 Ed Ames with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 6 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Tom Delonge but he manages to offload to Alistair Son in time.

The next phase to be played from 42 metres on the Vikings side of the halfway line.

Alistair Son with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 3 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Tom Delonge but he manages to offload to Jason Denton in time. Delonge just doesn't have enough pace to catch up with these guys. Where's Ben Jacobs gone?

The next phase to be played from 45 metres on the Vikings side of the halfway line.

Jason Denton with the ball on the run here. He palms away the attempted tackle from Adam Vago, and he's in!!

    TRY TO Hurricanes

Conversion attempt for the Hurricanes. Kick to be taken by Ed Ames. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

Vikings need to make a comeback here. They're being massively outplayed at the moment

    Vikings 0 - 14 Hurricanes

The next phase to be played from 38 metres on the Hurricanes side of the halfway line.

Andrew James with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 8 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Ed Ames but he manages to offload to Mate Perry in time.

Mate Perry with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 6 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Damien Taylor but he manages to offload to Theo Miokovic in time.

Great work by James there to set up Perry. Just what the Vikings needed!!

Um so Heath, not complaining or anything, but seriously, always the wet games when we have a crap kicker. Damn your Game engine!

Andrew James is tackled by League Lover for the Hurricanes and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Hurricanes players pile in. I think he got a little isolated there, and they've turned the ball over here.

The next phase to be played from 36 metres on the Hurricanes side of the halfway line.

Incredible stuff here! He's burst through the defensive line and he's on a run. Alistair Son with the ball for the Hurricanes. I think he's going to make it all the way. Yes, he touches down under the posts. A great run of 87 metres. TRY!!

Conversion attempt for the Hurricanes. Kick to be taken by Ed Ames. Great kick. He's nailed that one and they earn the extra 2 points.

    Vikings 7 - 21 Hurricanes

Both teams really putting the conditions in context here. We've had some shocking performances in the wet this season, but both teams are still looking to throw the ball wide here today.

    ...

Restart to the Vikings. Aaron Hunt with the kick. He kicks a short one. That's gone to Kelvin Fung who takes the catch cleanly. Fung runs up to the line and offloads to Taylor.

Damien Taylor with the ball on the run here. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. He lets off an awful pass in the tackle. That's been knocked on and we'll have a scrum here.
The next phase to be played from 13 metres on the Hurricanes side of the halfway line.

Scrum to Vikings. Great work by the Vikings. They've secured their own ball and win that scrum gaining 5 metres.

The next phase to be played from 18 metres on the Hurricanes side of the halfway line.

Incredible stuff here! He's burst through the defensive line and he's on a run. Steve Cambridge with the ball for the Vikings. I think he's going to make it all the way. Yes, he touches down under the posts. A great run of 33 metres. TRY!!

    TRY TO Vikings

Conversion attempt for the Vikings. Kick to be taken by Aaron Hunt. Nah, that's sailed wide of the posts.

    Vikings 12 - 21 Hurricanes

All action here today. End to end stuff!!

Hunt back to expected form there. Missing from in front. More shanky than a showroom full of Armitage Shanks.

  20. Rocks DN Boland

    Boland to come on :ninja:
