Who do you propose I shift out of the onball brigade? Brett's a gun there, I'm a gun, so one of the centremen.
But yeah you're playing on the wing atm and Brett I'd say is the best rover in the league and I'm the best ruck-rover going on last year's performances so it'd be pretty hard to shift one of us. Howe also does a pretty good negating role in the centre.
You could have stayed at the firebirds and probably played on ball. Yet again I doubt Harps would have after you singlehandedly fucked up their club for this season. I don't care about that; I signed you as you looked like you weren't going to sign anywhere else. I've asked you what you propose I do (I was serious ftr). I'm happy to play you in a position you'd prefer if you can suggest me what to do. At the moment I don't know why I'd move me, who won the tournament MVP last season, and Brett who was the best player in the comp over the last 4 weeks from the onball slots - especially as both are more active than you but if you can suggest something that works I'll take it on board. Do you think that myself or brett should be moved onto a wing so you can play onball or something?
I've got no issue with playing players in a preferred position but I named benny on the wing, over Tadeusz who's been an awesome clubman - and the wing's an awesome spot and he complains. If I was underperforming or Brett was underperforming I'd have no issue with playing benny but out of the 5-6 regular onballers last season he was the worst - so I'm just trying to re-invent him in a different position. Don't want to sacrifice games to make individuals happy but I guess I might just move myself to avoid the fuss. You're welcome to get a release if it matters that much to you benny.
I'm not having a go at you Skippos ftr, I can see why you have the other dudes there, I was a gun on-baller last season and figured due to the fact u were signing me that's where I'd be going. I gave Harps Firebirds because all the cunts I wanted to play with were at other clubs and I didn't have time to recruit them.
The type of player I tried to create is a rover with good tackling ability e.g a Kirk, Hayes, Ling etc. Not a quick wingman I don't see me being successful on the wing but happy to continue with for now if its what u suggest
Give it a run. You've come to a club with a 'meh' centre-line but a gun onball brigade, so it'll be pretty hard to break in there. I'm open to changing it if things don't work though. Give the wing a go though.
