Gear is a good play. But you cannot argue a case for him to make the top 4 in the world. You have to play international rugby for that

How can you call me an idiot with a post like that? The step up from club rugby to international rugby is huge. Some players will not play anything like they do for their clubs in their national jersey. Look at Wales and Ireland. Ireland dominated club rugby but are gash at national level, look at Wales, woeful at club level but the players internationally are immense. You would never pick Roberts, Warburton, North on club form. However you might pick Sexton, Healy, Murray on club form but you'd never touch them on international form unless you were thick as pigsh*t and wanted to lose. You can have your opinion, even if it is utter bullsh*t but don't call somebody who actually takes a realistic, rather than some fantasy viewpoint an idiot. Coming from a person who only knows about the NZ set-up, but not much about rugby. Reminds me of someone posting about the general consensus around the world for best backrowers. It is slowly hitting me this is not a place for serious rugby discussion
No he isn't because he does not play international rugby for NZ. Any argument otherwise is ridiculous. It is fine saying he should be in the NZ team in your opinion. Saying he is top 4 in the world without being internationally tested for a while is rubbish
Right now it has to be Ioane Jane North Clerc But granted this is a highly debatable subject with lots of very capable wingers who have shown great touches the last 12 months Tommy Bowe springs to mind and I have always been a fan of Ashley-Cooper who is very sound each game at international level, plus many more. But those 4 up against each other would be amazing. Ioane vs North Jane vs Clerc Awesome
That's a fair assessment. I definitely agree with the top 3. North has immense talent at the moment. I think Kahui, if he plays wing, should eventually make his way up the list as well.
