    From what was described on the radio, Ellis tackled Gia without the ball right in front of the bulldogs goal with like a minute to go.

    Gia and Ellis the only two inside 50, 15 metres from goal 5 metres in from the right far (so top right from broadcast angle) pocket. Ball bounces in front of Gia and then does a mongrel bounce pretty much bouncing straight up. Catches them both by surprise but Gia reacts better and it was as if Ellis thought he'd picked it up and wrangled him down when the ball was 2 metres from him.

    Clear free. Glad it was paid as umpires normally shy from those calls.
