    Reckon the bottom ranked CPL owners should possibly get dropped for the CFD guys. Need some kind of lightning league to see who gets eliminated and who moves up.

    surely they'd just drop down to the cfd. Kind of defeats the purpose of retentions if players lose all their players just because they come last. Very unrealistic of most franchised competitions.

    If that would be the case surely the top teams would get more retentions then to show some sort of sliding scale portraying player happiness
