Yeah. Just couldn't get Paul's midfield going. Nobody stood up, Libba, Priddis and Cotchin all had bad days while Crowley had an awesome start but had to move back and tag Rioli after his first quarter. Paul's defense was overwhelmed, really. Only Rutten and Grima as talls but a mixture of 4 of Stringer, Clark, White, Brown, Gunston and Vardy forward meant Scotland/Goddard/Hanley had to take talls. None of those three are real lockdown defenders either so it was really hard. No real Morris/Dempster in the side, really needed one today as well as a third tall. Reckon Goddard's gotta move into the middle for Pearce.
CPL MVP: 5 - Cyril Rioli: Set up the win in the first quarter and throughout the day gave the forwards brilliant supply from a forward flank 4 - Jonathan Brown: 5 goals and 22 touches is a fantastic return 3 - Harry Taylor: Kept Josh Kennedy to a goal and 10 touches while having an excellent offensive return 2 - Mitch Clark: 13 touches, 4 goals and 19 hitouts from the ruck and rotating forward. 1 - Dion Prestia: 30 touches and 8 clearances. Gave his team first use which set up the win.
