Has it been decided yet what is happening? I'm not in favour of it personally. I can see people getting in situations where a metric fuckload of guys are injured in the crazy harsh injury sim. I'd only be in favour of it if I can borrow players from the Triads if I'm in dire straits, but making it so everyone in my 18 man squad has to be utilized first before I can borrow from Chewie.
How can 18 men utilized first? You could have injuries to bowlers, you won't go replacing them with batsman.
Thats what happens with squads. Sometimes there are mass injuries and you're fucked over. But I should have to use all of my players before being allowed to ask Chewie if I can borrow someone.
I understand what you are saying ,but don't know how that rule can work? Say for example Tunza get Harmison,Swan and Hastings injured, would they have to pick Finch first before asking for backup?
No injuries IMO. I already have 4 key first graders out for extended periods. My next back up getting injured playing for fucking DAS would be so dumb. I also think stupid 2nd team selections (choosing their drafted players over existing reserves if they're not clearly better) should be able to be over ruled.
Would need more draft picks then because the first team players are getting injured in any case in the top competition.
20 men won't be available every round though for certain. Say If a first choice player gets injured for a team, they will call up a reserve and withdraw from those 14. And then one of the 14 could get injured. El Nino had 5 injuries for example so only 2 of his players were available at the time. Now if the squirts had say 5/6 available at the time. Then that would make it 7 players available to pick from and then on top of that if the CFD drafted players of six get injured then it would be tough to get any sort of balance at all from random players.
Fuck off cunts. Geraint Jones is injury prone enough as it is. Last thing I need is Bairstow getting injured in FC then Jones getting injured in the herp derp league leaving me keeperless.
Tough fucking titties. As it stands my CPL team has one pace bowler, two spinners, two all rounders and then batsmen who bowl a bit as my attack. Injuries do that ffs.
Assuming we only have injuries for draft players (not CPL reserves) then it is so unlikely you will have less than 11 players from a 20 man squad. If it ever happens, then fucking lol and take your associate player imo. In a competition where only six players can get injured and not all of them will neccessarily play, the CPL sides (both of them) will be doing extremely well to injure themselves so much. I can see one CPL side having a horrible injury run, but not both at the same time.
