Playing a game or streaming music? I've never experiences it with playing a DVD or playing games but sometimes my net gets a bit sketchy when streaming music and it lags a little because of that.
It's with everything. First experienced it with Netflix then I went to play FIFA to check and it was skipping too. And when I moved up/down menus the sound is lagging quite a bit
And the TV isn't doing it? And the HDMI port on the TV isn't doing it? And the cable isn't doing it? If the answer is no to those things and you can't be fucked resetting the system, call PlayStation. So they can tell you to reset your system.
How have you got the sound set up? On mine I've got it through optical and into the surround sound, can make it lag if I've forgot to turn the surround sound off for a while (usually goes off when the TV does, but not always)
I haven't changed anything. The only thing I can think of is that I used my headphones in the controller but it worked when I took them out.
Now it seems to be working, NFI. Same thing happened with the visual. It was all wavy and then it fixed itself.
http://community.us.playstation.com...-with-latest-PS4-netflix-update/td-p/45270037 This seems to be the same issue as I'm having. I'm re-installing netflix but it looks as though I may have to wait for the next update
Had issues with picture on my PS4 constantly flickering a little while ago. Fixed it by unplugging the HDMI cable from the tv input, then putting it back in. Was glad it was just that, otherwise I would have been wigging out that my PS4 was screwed up.
