I've tried to at least play forwards there, but the blokes there are props with really low postcounts. One of our better players in Hughesy can't get a game because of his position; I really can't see a scrum half of any quality being a flanking success though.
To be fair, I can't see a prop being much of a success at Flanker either. Who'd want to be the guy lifting the short, 130kg guy in the line out? Locks can do a decent enough job at Flanker if you've got any spare... But really will be fighting over the scraps playing Props at Flanker. Fortunately, QLD have even bigger problems to deal with, so you should be fine playing Hughesy wherever, tbh.
We've got Dempsey, Burridge and Boland to cover 4-8. That's it. We're two players short for that whole back row area I've just had to stick props in there. Do you think we'd go better if I moved the spare props to lock and the locks I've got to flanker/#8? Got a couple of spare wingers and halves who are better players than the spare props I've too but I figured I should at least use forwards to fill in.
Nah - I pretty much had the same XV (but I didn't have Boland in there, and I had Storer down as NSW and had him in instead?)
Boland's only just signed up so I can see why you missed him. Storer's Victorian, but was aligned with NSW before Victoria had a province on CricSim. Can we take him?
Well I might end up playing you on the bench for the Hawks Nah I don't really care where I play anyway tbh.
Oh. Then no, you can't. Is Magic a NSWman? He was a forward in S2 - just get him to sign up as a Flanker?
