So after being drafted to the Bobcats at pick 9, I requested a trade and landed at the Knicks. After about 5 games on the bench, I've been selected to start. My season stats aren't great (but I haven't played every game): 25mins 12.6pts 3.2reb 4.3ass 1.5stl 0.3blk We're 29-29.
The thing that pisses me off most is when you go to lay up and you miss and your guy randomly shoves your opponent over and you get fouled. Or if you go up for the rebound and it does it. Also when you go to steal the ball and it goes straight back to your opponent.
That only happens if you try to run away and go straight into them. So yeah, don't do that And steals can't always be successful
I don't run toward them, I just press triangle to get the rebound. Unrealistic, imo. I have 92 steal, always foul.
Its not unrealistic. It happens all the time, its an "over the back" foul or "loose ball" foul. Basically you can't jump over someone for a rebound. If you are behind them and you jump for it, but you impede their jump its a foul.
By getting front position. What position are you? Oh and if they are Off boards, don't worry about them, just get back on D.
I only go for Off boards when i'm not taking the shot, but i make sure i get front position. And if a C/Pf gets it i instantly reach and try and strip him.
Yeah, and then DUNK ON HIS FACE... i can't dunk yet, so i just run to the 3-line and shoot it. Which i'm shooting 60% from there this season (20 games in)
Pisses me off when my coach takes me off for the whole last quarter if I reach 5 fouls. No matter how good I'm doing.
