I wanted to pick a really good one (not a classic by any means) but alas will wait and see if it is picked.
So are people actually picking their favourite movies? I would probably go with what I thought most people on here would have seen and enjoyed over better, older movies.
It's difficult to tell, having the first category as your favourite film sort of implies the other categories are a 'best of' but I think your pick order will dictate what you go for i.e. usually the more iconic and critically regarded films will go first and you're left with what's left.
Yeah the idea for the 'Your Favourite Film' was to give you a chance to put your own personal touch on your movie collection right off the bat. In the category rounds you may not always be able to get that movie you love. Also, thinking of 17 rounds wasn't easy so this was an easy one to add
Should have left favourite film for the last category. I love Green Mile but it isn't my fave movie ever.
Surely most people's favourite movies will be taken by the last round. The last round is a free pick so it's essentially that anyway
Well the category was to take your favourite movie so theoretically they should all be gone first round
Well, I can't narrow it down to have only a single favourite film. I've got about a dozen I would have been equally happy with. I doubt all of those dozen will be taken. But I take your point.
I choose Raiders purely for the childhood memories, I was at a prime age when it came out. Plus it's a great movie.
Saw it at the movies when I was 11 and thought it was the best thing I had ever seen. Was my favourite movie for about 5 years after that
I hate the Thin Red Line. One of only 3 films I've walked out of the cinema on. Can't remember why now though given it was so long ago.
