    That was when Zipping came second wasn't it?
    I think that I won about $300 on that quinella. I also was a whisker away from 10 grand as I had a tri on Efficient, Zipping and the horse that came 4th.

    6 times... Just as many as Shocking. It's a good horse. Got a 3rd in the Cup in 2008.

    Yeah. I won $300 odd on the quinella. And it would seem that my fond memories of Zipping coming 2rd was actually him coming 4th. So that bastard actually cost me about $4000.

    In the Colcutta tonight in a $300 per head syndicate, got the top 3 horses last year. Thinking of going after Descarado and Americain hard, hoping Shocking might come in under value from gate 24, have to be very cheap though for us to bid. Thinking Manighar might go cheapish from gate 20 as well.

    Really just hoping we draw good horses and there's a few there tonight, the pot usually reaches about 10 grand.

    Like the way Zipping came home strong over the distance in the Cox against So You Think You Can Dance. 40 each way @ 28 & 7.80.

    Also put a lazy 50 on SYTYCD @ $3.20 just in case.

    1st year in a long time I've bet on the cup though, too much of a lottery/ too slack to put a bet on etc, etc. A lot better value races elsewhere.
