    Can't play NRL without a contract- THE NRL wouldn't let you in in the first place.

    Can't play Super 14 in NZ without a contract- not sure about the other 2 countries pretty sure it's the same.

    From Research on the internet, not 100% sure on its trueness.
    Bulldogs (I dont knwo who they are) got docked 2 points in NRL for fielding an ineligble player.
    Now wether he had a contract or not or was ineligble for other reasons I dont know. But the argument stands. If the NRL knew that the player in question was not allowed to play, then they should of stopped it before hand shouldnt they??

    (Obviously as I dont know about NRL I dont know if this is even true, got it off the internet)

    As I said I just search on the internet and it was worded as if it was an ineligble player was on the field instead of an extra. But still shouldnt the officials have seen this and put an end to it before it even effected anything.

    Officials did see it and hence he was only out there for a certain amount of time, was an interchange miscommunication ,teams fault therefore punishable.

    Now in this case

    Officials did see it hence it has only gone on for 2 games (as opposed to the whole season), was a miscommunication with the teams giving players contracts and just assuming they would post them without confirming they did it and still selecting them. Teams fault you could say.

    Obviously theres a major difference between a player being on the pitch for 10 mins or 2 games, but the maxium time scale is also extedned between 80 mins and an entire season.

    There are some comparisons, its wether someone wants to see it like that or not

    The players shouldn't even be registered for the Giants without a contract, i.e. not in the sim and not in the sub-forum. If the Sim Owner de-registered uncontracted players after every season, this wouldn't have happened.
