    Ayala looked pretty composed got a bit tentative on the ball at times but overall did a good job for an 18 year old. Was super impressed with Johnson though was just fantastic was my Man of the Match. Stevie was back to himself as well which is terrific after looking a tad slow against the spurs, Torres did well some quality runs and balls, was brave as well, shit his eye swelled up quick. Still cant believe we have to resort to bringng Voronin on though, Glad to see N'gog get some time on the park and also Riera coming on in the later stages, should start next match imo, Yossi was nothing special really. Reina had a fantastic game i thought pulled out that save against Delaps volley which was first class that could well of changed the game.

    very happy with our performance overall.

    When we were in Oceania, people only cared about us once every four years when we played off against whoever for a WC spot. At club level, I'm sure there are plenty more people who'd say Manchester are their favourite side when compared to Sydney as well.

    As for your original point, we were shit. People still followed the sport though.

    Well we werent before the A-League etc, but Australians play virtually every sport where as India just arent a sporting country aside from cricket.
