You're probably better off bowling first with your side. Excellent bowling side and a few gun bats- but a side probably more suited to chasing 220 than trying to set 270 and falling for 180.
Well if your batting lineup was aiming for 200 I'm pretty sure they would've got it quite easily, but they thought they were awesome and aimed for 260 or so.
Should I choose to bat first then? I felt that with our batsmen it might be better if we had a target to aim for, might make them a bit more consistent or something
Well it was definitely a good move to bowl first against Queensland. I reckon any side that's really lop-sided (much better at either batting or bowling) should seriously think about bowling first as you know what your chasing then. If you're a batting side like you are, scoring 265/6 could've been 295/9, especially given your immense depth, so bowling first is a sound idea for you. I'd bat first if I had a more evenly distributed skillset in the side (unless I was playing Queensland).
