Since i probly won't be doing all games live (i'll do round 1 live, and the rhino's match in round 2 for sure, and important games), thought i'd start a poll before i get simming tonight on how everyone thinks i should post the live scoring. Play by post (ie Rob's simming of OD games) [Would be good for matches that come down to the wire and stuff.]. Quarter by post (Likei did in the trial) Or just straight out the whole game at once. Geaux.
Quarter by post imo. Whole game is far too long on a whole post, and play per post will not be that intresting tbh.
I dunno how play by play would work. There would either be too many updates, or it would be pretty hard picking out the key ones.
Play by play ie Player A shoots and scores 2 - 0 Next update: Player B Shoot and scores 5 - 0 Next update Player Z shoots and misses 5 - 0 etc etc ???

I had that a while ago but it took heaps of time to make new teams from scratch and to add players to said teams. It also didn't like it when I tried to play 2 custom teams against each other, kept freezing...every time.
I may have had a much earler version tbf. Anywho, I reckon it depends on how many spectators there are and shit. Quarter-by-quarter for the first 3 quarters and then play-by-play for the last quarter and for any overtime imo. Or do you have the free version like I did where there's only 3 quarters? >_>
I get 4 quarters fine and haven't payed for anything yet lol. That could also work though. I think any OT would have to be play by post imo.
