  1. Baxter MJ Deane

I’d rather find that out in some JAMODI series rather than the CT SF though

    10 overs: CricSim 44/2

After two early wickets, Tom Delonge hit the bulk of CricSim's early runs as he established a partnership with Oscar Wood. Earlier, Alex O'Driscoll's first attempt at opening in CricSim colours was not a success as he was out lbw for a nervous 7 off 19 balls, and Mohammed Aamer had caught the big fish of Matt James with a fine inswinger.

    20 overs: CricSim 96/2

Oscar Wood's class shone through as he progressed towards a fifty at a run a ball, carving the Pakistani spinners through the covers repeatedly to the boundary. At the other end Delonge remained in place as the CricSim top order established a solid base to their innings.

    30 overs: CricSim 138/4

The progression for the CricSim batsmen was smooth until the moment where, for the second time in their short careers, Tom Delonge ran Wood out. Pushing the ball to short extra cover, he opted to take on the fielder for no reason, and Wood departed for a rather unfinished 48. Delonge was then bowled shortly after by Malik as the innings stalled completely, before Hawke and Chewie could steady the ship.

    That run out was ridiculous.

That's Delonge setting off for the run about a second before the fielder gathers it.

    40 overs: CricSim 172/6

Used to smashing the bowling at the end of CricSim's innings, Hawke and Chewie were unable to find the clean striking that had won the Champion's Trohy. Hawke became Malik's second wicket for 15, and Chewie was the third lbw of the innings against Hasan Ali. Devon Mace was able to guide the inexperienced Lewis into a steady partnership, but CricSim had precious few wickets to play with in the final 10.

    50 overs: CricSim 240/8

Lewis was able to hold his own for a while, striking three fours in his 15, but it was an outstanding knock from Devon Mace kept CricSim in the game. While Cambridge focused on defending his wicket, Mace was able to crucnch a flurry of boundaries against Pakistan's all-rounder heavy attack. With Shoiab Malik's offspin being risked at the death, Mace siezed the chance by taking 18 off the over, including a full toss belted for six to bring up the allrounder's fifty.

In the 49th over Cambridge was run out trying to get Mace back on strike, which then led to the curious situation of Andrew James running a fortunate red-bull single to keep the strike for the start of the final over. A superb 50th over from Mohammed Aamer yielded only six singles, and CricSim set Pakistan 241 to win.

    10 overs: Pakistan 30/0

With a relatively small chase ahead, Azhar Ali crawled to 5* (30), playing out successive maidens from the superb James, who opened with 5-2-7-0. Fakhar Zaman was able to hit boundaries off Dyer and Cambridge to get the innings started.

  15. Cribbage RG Cribb

Definitely the least terrible thing I've done in my career so far.

That says a lot given it was a plucky 15 at #8.

    Good recovery though, Dev WAG.

  16. Chewie JA Chewie

    I was shit

    20 overs: Pakistan 85/0

The Pakistan openers targeted Steven Cambridge, who was hit for a six each by Ali and Zaman. With Cricsim on the back foot, the pair were able to rotate the strike freely against the spinners, and made positive progress towards their target.

Hopefully I can repay the director faith here

    30 overs: Pakistan 136/0

Andrew James continued to be the pick of the Cricsim attack as he completed a second spell, but none of the bowlers could find that key breakthrough. Pakistan's openers complied another hundred stand, with Fakhar Zaman the more fluid scorer but Azhar Ali raising a valuable fifty from 80 balls.

    40 overs: Pakistan 193/3

There was only one man keeping CricSim in this, and that was Devon Mace. The legspinner was finally able to dismiss the determined Ali for 53, and in his next three overs, both Babar Azam and Ahmed Shehzad were trapped lbw. Unfortunately for CricSim, despite the efforts of Mace, they were leaking runs at the other end, and Fakhar Zaman's hundred took Pakistan to within sight of victory. It was a question of which one man performance could take it home.
