Think it's harsh to call Murali injury prone.. the bloke's lasted forever pretty much. Had an injury in recent times but I wouldn't call him prone to them. McDonald back in for the next game though
Mate, you can't judge the injury proneness of a 40 year old by whether or not he regularly got injured while he was at his peak...
Before the start of the tournament Zaheer being injured would have been my worst nightmare. After his my first 2 games though I am not as concerned. Still plenty of time for him to turn it round though, glad it is only one game.
No shit, but the point I was making is it's harsh to label him injury prone based on the one real injury he's had in his career.
Maybe, but it's not harsh to label him injury prone because he's old as fuck and his body's given up on him...
Can Bond string two matches in a row?... Jerome is about to start his THIRD game in a row. Round of applause!
well ye, you either forfiet or choose to trade a player, I was getting at theres never a situation where you couldn't get 11 players
Well if someone was only injured for 1 game and would benefit a side in the long term they may well do it. Especially as they would probably be able to give up a worse player than usual to get the player as the team would be desperate.
Would be very, very odd that someone would have 8 players injured at once. 2 keepers being injured could be an issue. But I mean reserve keepers could play as batsmen and all rounders bowlers or batsmen etc etc.
