IMPORTANT CPL ANNOUNCEMENT - ALL READ

    Reserve grade is being scrapped, and all teams must cut back their squads from 40 to 25.

    No trading is allowed between teams who are yet to cut back their squads to 25.

    There will be a separate thread to list your 25. If you squad changes via a trade, make sure you edit that post straight away (not 12 hours later or the next day, but straight away).

    The reason this is happening is to simply make it easier to get this started. Creating 25 players per team is a lot easier than creating 40, and simming 8 games per round is a lot easier than simming 16.

    Then you can't have him. That's why I made the cut-off for recruiting free agents end just before I started this thread. :p

    Should be able to pick up players that get cut for a short period of time.

    ****ing sweet. So we cant trade till all teams are cut to 25? or just the two teams wanting to trade are cut to 25?

    A bit of both. Generally whatever's favourable for the player in question. If someone's retired since then I'm not going to hold it against them. On the hand, if you talk to Hancock02 for example, someone like Gillett hasn't really improved much; he's just been given a chance to show his stuff on the big stage.
