Yeah the list does not need to posted. If teams have to be selected and posts have a part to play then they may be needed but this is an individual thing so are not needed.
Actually, I thought that was the entire point, so teams would be picked based on their performances rather than post count.
Just makes it better where you don't know where you are in relation to post counts, kinda like if a Davis Cup team will be selected you will go off past results.
For the likes of ALC though you are rewarding activity rather than skill. So it can be useful for that. Although if you have to use post counts to see how active someone is you or they are clearly not very active!
