Gamblers CC (AKA The Pay Out Benny Thread)

Ridiculous decision by Weaver afaic. Somehow he's got in his head (I wonder from where....) that playing seconds will be better for him than playing firsts. It's a load of shit when at his stage of development as to pseudo average 30 in bs simming average wise, you have to average 18 in alc with the ball. I can't understand how anyone would give up firsts games to play in seconds when they are at an early stage of development. On top of that, it's a ridiculous signing by the Gamblers. The Rays can be criticised all ya want for the team we chucked on the park, but there were others that I turned away because I didn't want to have firsts players sitting in seconds. This team will become a blight on the competition. They have no thought about what one signing does to the competition of CricSim in general. All that this team will achieve is that other members will get the shits and form their own super team because they can't compete.

I didn't mind the Gamblers when they first came in because I thought they'd just take a few regulars from each team and be strong. But they're stealing players currently in seconds that would fill the holes left by their massive signings at other teams, just to play them in seconds again.

 

A sub-forum filled with in-fighting i'm sure.

 

One of two things will happen.
Either this team will have a massive exodus and die after 3 seasons. Or they'll just ****ing dominate for a few seasons before everyone just couldn't care less about the competition. Then we'll all get the shits and create a super team to make a match of it.
