I realise that... just seeing if there are heaps or not. Doesn't seem to have the interest it once had... being in charge. Other than yourself.
But that's the thing, there's like 6-7 of us, of which at the very least me and Skippos vote elsewhere, and theoretically an entire community which votes is backing Cynic. Plus his election thread is amazing.
I nominated myself for USA in the end. I'll appreciate if some of you visit my election speech thread to wish luck, even if you end up voting for Skippington. http://www.fromthepavilion.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=32543 It's one vs one - me vs cynic
I won't win anything for any country as long as I don't have votes from cricsim. All successful candidates have one source for block votes.
Yeah, normally a community that they've helped, contributed to and been a part of for at least 2-3 seasons. Had you done that you'd already had a managerial position. Because you believe it's your right to a spot without doing the hard community work others do, you have not secured a source for block voting and thus will consistently miss out on a nat post. People who win have earnt a block vote of their community. You haven't - that's the thing. It's just entitlement to expect a post when you've done nothing to earn people's votes.
The irony is his opponent's in the same spot, because no-one in our community feels they want to do it and have the time to ATM. That said he was asked to run. As for the other guy, he thought he was running for Bermuda initially and's probably a nonfactor. For the actual community, the consensus is we probably don't mind you managing and if you wanna do your own thing we'll let you but we won't vote for you.
