West Coast - 1164 for, 963 against, +/- of 201. Second is daylight. Third Port - 1145 for, 1049 against, +/- of 96. Club that cops it the most is Brisbane - 995 for, 1078, +/- of -83. From 2011-2013, J Selwood and Cox both have received 141 free kicks each. * excludes finals.
I don't think one team getting more frees for then against is a problem. Some teams just give away more free kicks. A 50/50 free kick count isn't necessarily what umps should be aiming for in matches.
West Coast's home differential is 155, away 59. But WC do have Cox, both Selwoods, Shuey and Priddis who play for free kicks.
With the ruckmen I think they need to be a bit like the #7 in Union - it's their job to identify and exploit the umpires interpretation on the day, which they do. No problem with Cox getting teh frees.
Cox, both Selwoods, Shuey and Priddis got 541 of their 1164 frees from 2011-2013. Darling isn't listed.
