For just the second time I can remember the "first to 100" rule failed me. Obviously, the rule says the first to 100 wins the game. Other rules I have are "Macolm Blight's Three Goal Rule" (if a team kicks three goals in a row the momentum has officially changed and is usually visible in play) and "The Curse of the Saturday Spread" (which dictates that a Geelong player who gets the middle spread of the Sport section on Saturday will always have a bad game - this one isn't so relevant any more, but it always happened when we were shit ) What are some quirky 'rules' you have when watching footy?
I'm not sure if I live by any superstitious rules... I am aware of the first to the ton always wins the game thing... Sad that that didn't happen today
