Decided to go back and finish my half-completed 2011 season with Adelaide, and somehow ended up with a second successive premiership. Have now gone 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 1st. It would be getting boring if it wasn't for the fact that both premierships came completely out of nowhere. Last season I won the flag from 7th - has anyone else managed that in this game before? This time around, after being around mid-table for most of the season, a late run of form and a good draw helped us to seven wins in a row to finish the season, which was enough to put us in second place with 15 wins. We came from behind to beat Geelong in the qualifying final and then beat West Coast convincingly in the preliminary final. We then went into a Grand Final against Brisbane, who had dominated all season, and unexpectedly belted them 14.10 (94) to 5.11 (41). The recruits won the day for us with Holcomb picking up 31 possessions and Hird booting four goals, while in the absence of Kurt Tippett due to suspension, Shaun McKernan had 43 hitouts and kicked 1.2. For the second year running, though, we missed out on the Norm Smith, with Rischitelli getting the nod for his 36 disposals. Don't blame me, I was using auto-pick.
60-something IIRC. He is young and improved about 6 overall last season, so chances are he'll get a gig in future seasons.
Just done my contracts at Round 20, signed all players, reached the limit.. but i hadnt signed Cotchin yet ! FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
Don't you hate that!! I signed Naitinui in my game from about a year ago and forgot to sign him again and lost him. Ragequit after that.
Best way to deal with that is: a) hope you've got older players who retire at season's end b) trade players out for draft picks
Been playing with Essendon. Finished 15th in the season, even though I had a couple of good pick ups. Strugglin' mass.
Won the preseason cup, minor premiership, and then lost the granny by 16. Shattered. Really good year too. Eagles beat me, they finished 3rd but were the best team all year until they lost their last 4. I don't know why. Then they came out and flogged the Dogs (2nd) and then the Bombers (4th) by about 80 points each. Then beat me in a ripper game.
G'day everyone, I'm new to the forum. Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to upload the 2010 lists to my Footy Fanatic? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
