I'll update this as I think of things that people will encounter after the draft is over and we get started. I've only thought of three so far. 1. My forwards all have good tight-running and fringe-running ratings; why don't they make much ground with their hitups? Answer: Your forwards are more than likely receiving a lot of ball directly off players with poor organisation ratings. Halves and hookers with good organisation ratings will take the right options and give each forward the ball when he'll be most effective in making ground with it. 2. I have good hole-running centres and second rowers; why do they never run into gaps? Answer: Your centres and second rowers are more than likely receiving a lot of ball directly off players with poor creativity ratings. Halves and fullbacks with good creativity ratings will give the ball to centres and second rowers at the right time so they can hit the gaps effectively. 3. My fringe and wide defenders all have good tackling ratings; why do players stroll through gaps between them? Answer: Check the positional play aspect. If two players standing next to each other any wider than the front rowers are both poor positionally, gaps will appear regardless of how well they can tackle.
My player gets stripped one on one after recieving a kick, Why can't he wrap the ball up? Answer: Your player is most likely Lance Hohaia.
I log on and my number one halfback is replaced by a cocnut who can't catch with gold teeth. Why is this?
4. I log on and my number one halfback is replaced by a cocnut who can't catch with gold teeth. Why is this? Answer: Your team is more than likely being compiled directly by a moron with a poor recruitment rating. Managers with good recruitment ratings will take the right options and secure good players in key positions. Risk a poor manager and your team could end up such players as Alex Glenn, or trades such as halfback for winger.
Haha I would seriously put that in there but this is for after the draft - it's for the simulator basically, not for CPL specifically as such.
Sharks will beat Gamblers in all fixtures between the sides. We're defo having a trial match, an annual Shield IMO.
