You can also have a defensive formation for most of the game, then change it to counterattack when the opposition is tired? It is extremely hard to call them "lucky" wins tbh..
I agree with your point, I still think Liverpools performace's through the whole year haven't deserved the hype. Except for there big wins. I garantee Liverpool wouldn't of beat ManU if not for the red card. Same with Fulham beating ManU.
You can't guarentee that. One player does not make a team. So your saying Vidic would of saved 3 goals? he was being dominated by Torres.
To the same extent, if you score in the 92nd minute you could have changed formation etc. in order to chase a win rather than a draw.
Liverpool have had the luck? Gerrard and Torres ( liverpools 2 best players) have started 11 premier league games together. Out of 31. That is really lucky.1 in 3 games (roughly) they have played together. I would be interested to no what the stats are like with rooney and ronaldo, but i bet it is a lot higher. p.s i am a neutral in this and dont have any bias towards liverpool.
it was on the EPL review show like 2-3 weeks ago like 2-3 weeks ago, i didnt believe it either im going to check it out
This argument is ridiculous. Manchester United are the luckiest team in the competition, no doubt about it. How many times have they had a fortunate turn of events or some fluke goal get them out of jail when it looked dire for them? The referees don't try very hard to hide their blatant bias towards Manchester United and against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.
