Have to say that Rahane's a real stats beast. I'd say its too early to really call him a good player. It'll be interesting to see how he goes when he gets a chance to bat outside India.
I imagine that's the entire basis of his selection. Some sort of statsguru search or the like. Given it's an entirely stats based sim as well it's probably not the worst of ideas if you're struggling to fill a spot.

Little bit of a punt, given his career has been relatively short.
I *think* I saw this guy in the IPL. Looked to have a good eye and sense of timing, if I'm thinking of the same fella. I would say he's bound to play for India at some point, but seeing how Badrinath is still overlooked, you can't guarantee it.
