This is just a proposal here. What's the status of the sim we need to make this happen? I have mod powers for this subbie so I can do a bit to get this thing happening. I reckon we should start again as the teams we had previously are now outdated unfortunately. I'd be looking for a 16 team comp with the eligibility for selection being Players must have either: * Played in the NRL in 2010 or 2011 * Played in the NSW Cup in 2010 or 2011 * Played in the Queensland Cup in 2010 or 2011 * Played in the Toyota Cup in 2010 or 2011 * Played in the European Super League in 2010 or 2011 and played in the NRL before that * Played in the European Super League in 2010 or 2011 and played Test football* for Great Britain or England For the purposes of CPL Rugby, Tests can only be played against Australia and New Zealand. Any player who makes his Test debut after the original date of this post is not eligible.
Already spoke to Cribb about this numerous times, nothing we can do at the moment as the sim is ages away. No point doing a draft as it will be no good by the time the sim is built.
We already made the mistake once before of doing a draft before the simulator was ready. There's no point doing it again now.
Anyone keen to have a play around draft? 08 onwards? If it coincides with the Sim being almost ready then there we go, if not meh...
