?

How should contracts be determined?

  1. Contracts should be completely as they are in real life

    50.0%
  2. Contract lengths should be as they are in real life, but salary determined based on draft pick

    35.7%
  3. Salaries should be determined by draft pick, and contract length randomised

    14.3%

It was only assault, not like it was anything serious...

If you're keen to team up, I'm sure I can get my lawyer to bring me a laptop into my cell.

If not, you better sleep with one eye open.

Everyone will start on an equal footing. People won't be rebuilding from the end of the draft. People will rebuild once their best players leave aka the big contracts.

    What ?

Probably right. Not even sure how to set how many years each player/pick has on their contract though, if we use the determined by draft pick method.

Yeah its difficult because a standard contract from a top draft pick is 3 years with a 2 year team option ~5mil/year. But players like Jordan should be like 20mil over the 5 years.

I got convicted of assault, 18 months behind bars.

    Thinking;
salary is based on draft pick unless they're still on their first contract, then just use that.
years left is just based on current contract
    all player/team options void

The divisions have worked out perfectly with locations picked. Couldn't have asked for an easier/ realistic split.

Should allow current rookies to have a 2 year team option.
