Apparently Sinclair, Didak, Johnson and Frost were training before the main session with the injured guys (Ball, Maxwell, Keefe etc). Could possibly read into this that those guys won't be selected in the 1's this week. Looks like Krakouer will hopefully get the call up after his good form in the VFL.

 

Not sure, Toovery going down may have saved him but we'll have to wait and see. I don't want to see us making too many changes and I reckon Toovey (obviously), Sinclair and Hudson will all make way before him.

 

I'd say a shut down roll because with Toovey gone we don't have anyone to try and stop small/medium forwards.

5 changes but all seem fair enough. Sinclair and Fasolo have given us nothing the last few weeks and Russell has been pretty ordinary for a while now. Can't wait to see what our youngsters produce tonight, particularly Witts and Kennedy

 

Also interesting to note that Ben Sinclair has been named in the back pocket in the VFL side. Could be a change of roll for him with Toovey done for the year? Or it could just be one of those things where they are named in a position but don't actually play there.

 

The best things about the 3 big fellas playing is that we will have at least 2 big targets up forward at all times instead of just Cloke. It will make their defenders more accountable instead of dropping off everytime to double team Cloke.

 

Will be such a shame if it does turn out to be an ACL. What is with our tall defenders doing their ACL's? First Brown, then Keefe and now possibly Frost. Rotten luck, exspecially for a young up and coming player.

Did what we had to do on Friday night, wasn't pretty but we'll take the 4 points. Good to get Daisy back into some form and Pendles was a beast all over the ground.

Biggest positive though was Macaffer's game shutting down DalSanto.

 

I hope so. I reckon Josh Thomas will get dropped when Ball comes back in and Jarrod Witts will probably make way for someone like Ben Johnson when fit as playing 2 ruckman didn't really work that well for us.
