Changes

Alright, This will get going again pretty shortly but with a few changes along the way, I'll update this thread with what will be happening, first of all these changes will occur before the start of the next tournament (week 6)

• Qualification for tournament will come through activity across the forum in particular this sub forum

Previously I simmed a couple of qualification rounds to qualify however I don't really see a point in having players who will never see their matches being played whilst other active people are on the sidelines not playing, so the most active 64 players determined by this and Tennis Sim post counts will get a game. The top 16 ranked players will automatically qualify with a seed regardles of activity however.

• All Player Names will be changed to their Cricsim simming names

It got really confusing for all with some ridiculous names on people and no one really knew who was who so all player names will be reverted to your cricsim simming names.

• There will no longer be doubles

Part of the reason this stopped last time is because of the manual work I had to do and at the moment there is no other way to sim doubles matches than work forumlas for each match which is really time consuming and annoying so until something is worked out to make it easier and quicker there won't be doubles happening in tournaments.

• Prize money will kick into effect and will be a prize money leader board
  

This won't affect rankings or anything, It's just an extra add on type thing which can be tracked by everyone.

These changes as stated above will kick into affect before the Week 6 tournament, The Davis cup will be simmed before that however so they will happen after the Davis Cup.

As I said that will take affect after Davis Cup, So there is still doubles for Davis Cup.

It's not the top 64 from that list necessarily, not everyone is registered. If you were outside that 64 but really active around this subforum you'd def play ahead of someone who isnt active in here, That list is pretty much just to weed out people who are never on here but still have an ok post rank from when Tennis Sim used to run.

 

tbh, i'll probably just go through and pick people who I know are active and if there is any doubt or too many people ill refer to those lists.
