    We've played quite loose the first two games, lots of opposition in open space.

    Who would you of chosen as captain? I don't mind Murphy, Needs to bulk up a bit more perhaps.

    Carrazzo or even Jamison, even if only for a couple of seasons until Kruezer comes out of his shell. Unfortunately for you now, you've got a captain for the next 10 years who is a pussy.

    We've got Maxwell, who whilst a useless footballer, is an angry, angry man on the field.

    Yeah, Kreuzer is too quiet at the moment. He is going to start dominating on the ground soon enough, well he's already started this season really.

    He's super, super quiet though. They were up in Bendigo pre-season, and my wife and daughter are Carlton supporters, so we took her to the kids day. Kreuzer was a good guy, but yeah, too quiet for a captain. My 3yo boy wouldn't have a photo with him because he was scared of the giant. :LOL:

    John Elliot on SEN said Carlton almost merged with St.Kilda in 1995.

    Carlton jumper for home games, St Kilda for away. Only reason it didn't happen was Carlton went on to win 18 games and beat Geelong in the grand final. So the St.Kilda president backed out of the deal because it would look like a takeover instead.

    Thank god for that.


    Then apparently Carlton once owned 20% of North Melbourne :laugh: and in 98/99 they wanted to merge with Carlton, and then both ended up in the final, so that ended that.
