    5. Jesse Ryder (5/6)

    8. Irfan Pathan (3)
    9. Sunil Joshi (6/5)

    We're clearly lacking in bowling fire-power. Pathan and Siddle aren't performing with the ball. Ryder, and the top order aren't performing with the bat. Do we bite the bullet and push Morkel and Pathan up the order to bring in an additional bowler... Something like:

    2. Fawad Alam
    3. Mohammad Wasim
    4. Virat Kohli
    5. Jesse Ryder (7)
    6. Albie Morkel (4)
    7. Irfan Pathan (5/6)
    8. Sunil Joshi (6/5)

    Morkel could bat 6 pretty easy I think but Pathan at 7? Thats the bigger issue.

    I'd just leave it. Your bowling has been getting you over the line. Unlike the other teams, all your bowlers have shown moments of brilliance and won you games other than Pathan; they just haven't fired together yet.

    If anything I'd look at changing the top order a bit somewhat. van Zyl back for Wasim, perhaps.

    I'm not comfortable with pushing Pathan up to be honest. Might give Rauf a run some time later in the comp though.

    The only change I would make would probably be what Rob suggested. But I'm not 100% sold on changing the team to be honest.

    BTW, what's happening our reserves team? What's the name for it?

    Gonna kick some fucking cunts to touch. Fucking fed up of this shit. Pathan can't take fucking wickets to fucking save his godforsaken life. I'd like to keep Joshi in there, but if Pathan goes, we'll need the extra batting of Powar. Out goes Wasim. Averages 50+ over recent seasons in real life, but can't buy a run here, so Jesse goes up to 3. He'll fail there no doubt. Then van Zyl who hasn't shown much either comes in at 5 and will most likely fail at it too.

    The only other option I came up with is to drop Benkenstein and play Morkel at 6. Pathan at 7. Either way, we'll lose to some unheard of shits who've been useless all tournament.

    And if Cevno posts something in here, I'm liable to lose it.

    Perhaps Joshi should play ahead of Rauf? I know that gives you no proper third seamer as such but it gives you two frontline spinners, and Joshi has definitely been acceptable, particularly in the last couple of games.

    I'd be happy to do that if we knew what kind of wickets we were playing on from one game to the next, but if they're generic wickets, they're pretty useless for Spin in the 1st dig and we're liable to concede 500+ first time around.
